Elodie Barker is a well-known Australian ceramic artist whose pieces feel alive—each work shaped by hand and finished with expressive surface detail. After completing her studies, Elodie was accepted into the JamFactory Contemporary Craft & Design Associate program (Ceramics Studio), where she began working with Contemporary Co founder Shantala Chung Gon. Together they’ve showcased Elodie’s work to audiences around the world.
From her studio today, Elodie hand-builds animal sculptures in various clays and throws bowls in multiple sizes, decorating each with underglaze pigments to create texture, colour and a distinct personality. Award-winning and highly collectible, her ceramics are small-batch, signed and gallery-grade—made to be used, admired and kept.
