Born in South Australia, Emma Klau graduated from the University of South Australia in 2007 (BA Visual Arts, Hot Glass). Early studio practice in Goodwood fuelled a love of large, organic vessels, and her Associate years at JamFactory refined the balance between sculpture and function. Exhibiting across Adelaide (including SALA) and the Adelaide Hills, Emma developed her first range of functional, stemless revolving wine glasses and bowls in 2011—now an ongoing series of revolving tableware that pairs delight with purpose.
