Influenced by archaeology and paleontology, Jane explores the idea that endings reveal new interiors: like strata exposing shards, remnants and artefacts. In her ceramics, this becomes a dialogue between order and structure and the random effects of nature. Surfaces suggest sediments and patina; forms remain calm and functional.
